Hello, I'm Alex Conwell, Chief Solutions Engineer at OneCore Systems.  This company is the product of two small businesses, one originally formed in 1996 on the founding principle to "Do The Right Thing".  We aim to continue that tradition by providing small and medium sized businesses in the Houston area with the advantages of a highly skilled in-house IT department, sans the need to manage or pay for one full time.

I've worked in IT for over 15 years.  I've gone from the back room of a computer repair shop in the late 90's, to a locally-based technology consulting group, an IT manager's desk at an oil & gas company, the network team at a manufacturing company, and finally to the small business services provider that would eventually become OneCore.  I'm perpetually fascinated by technology, and I want nothing more than to share the knowledge, skill and experience my passion has given me, with you.

That being said, we know we aren't the only name in the game.  And it takes more than skill, experience and good intentions to deliver the kind of support that your business needs.  So when you choose to work with OneCore, I will promise you this:

We will deliver the absolute highest level IT skill-set required for the job, and we'll charge the fairest rate possible.

You will ALWAYS be able to get a hold of us.  Whether you're calling at midnight or on a Sunday; if you need us, we'll be there.  (And that's whether you call us once a year or every week!)

Our first priority will always be you and your best interests.  We're selling our time, and not really making money off of the products we recommend.  You can rest assured that what we recommend really is the best choice for your business, and not what pads our pocketbook the most.

We will learn, understand and work around your business.  We take the time to learn about you, your staff and your customers to help you make the best technology decisions possible.  We know when your crunch times are and we stay out of the way, but close at hand. We remember how you like your desktop icons arranged and we make sure we always leave it that way.

We will strive to be able to answer any technology related question you could ever have.  If we don't have the answer right away, we will get it for you.  And if it somehow involves something beyond what we typically service, we will bring in the talent required for the job.
